Fur Baby Buddy

Last night we gained a new family member, a furbaby to be exact. For the last few weeks, I've been wanting to get another dog, mainly to keep Browny company for the times that we leave him home by himself. I've been perusing the classifieds on KSL, but not too seriously.

Well, until I saw this picture:

Cute, right?

Amazingly, it didn't take much to convince Scott, so he made arrangements to pick Buddy up. It had to be after the owner finished work (which was pretty late), but Buddy refused to go near Scott when he arrived. So it was nearly midnight when the little pup finally warmed up to him enough that Scott could bring him home.

Naturally, the kids went nuts over him, scaring the poor dog. But, he immediately warmed up to Browny, who didn't know what to make of the situation. Hopefully, the two will get along. At the moment, Browny is desperately trying to get away from Buddy, who is as enthusiastic as you might expect from a 6-month old puppy.

I don't know if dogs have facial expressions, but I swear Browny keeps looking at me like, "Really, Mama?!"

And, all I can do is laugh.
