Ryan had his first Jr. Jazz game today and his team won...or so I'm told. I didn't get much sleep last night and I'm still sore, so I didn't go. I'm hoping I'll be feeling better for next week's game, though. Ryan was really excited, as he's a total sports fanatic at this point. His coach is his good friend's dad, who also happens to be a sports fanatic, lol. So far, with practice and this game, Ryan is really is enthusiastic about this.
Jeff is adapting well to having a cast, although I suspect his leg itches like crazy, which causes him to be grumpy. He also doesn't sleep well at night, but for the most part, he seems to be doing okay. The cast stops right below his knee, so he can move more than when he had the temp splint (which went up to his thigh). He still won't walk on it (which is expected, I think), but has mastered crawling with it. He's really fast, lol.
Vanessa is getting over a cold. She was really disappointed on Thursday when we told her she was too sick to go to preschool, but since all she has now is a stuffy nose, she's excited to go back on Thursday. She's learning alot and having fun, so I''m glad.
As for Ethan, he's just anticipating Christmas. I love seeing his eyes light up with excitement when he looks at the advent calendar to see how many more days are left. He's also waiting to put the star tree topper on the tree, but as we don't have a tall enough ladder, it'll have to wait. Poor guy asks everyday, "Can I put the star on now, Mom?" I'll have to get on that, lol.
Christmas is coming!
